Why this campaign is different

Running for every learner. Not one program.

Edward is in this race to raise the whole district: classroom teacher, middle-school vice principal, K–12 science supervisor, urban STEAM grant lead, and a Rutgers director who trains thousands of educators a year — plus three children, two of them in these schools and one on the way. The work is excellence for every learner, not a single focus.

01

Future-ready classrooms

Keep curriculum rigorous and current: strong reading and math foundations, science and engineering, problem-based learning, and responsible use of technology and AI.

02

Stewardship, not slogans

Pursue state, federal, and foundation dollars before asking families for more. Scrutinize contracts, energy, and staffing. Do not cut student services as a first move.

03

Challenge every learner

Gifted, twice-exceptional, and advanced students deserve research-based acceleration and enrichment — not ideology, and not a program that disappears without evidence.

Full priorities

Three questions, every vote.

School boards should not micromanage daily operations. They should set direction, ask hard questions, and spend public money with proof.

  1. 01

Are our kids learning and supported?

Instruction has to produce measurable results — and students should come home excited after a real day of school.

  2. 02

Are our teachers getting the tools they need?

Curriculum is only as strong as the training, time, and support behind it. I train educators for a living. I know what that looks like.

  3. 03

Are we spending public funds responsibly?

If a program spends taxpayer money, it needs clear goals and proof that it works. Protect what works. Fix or change what does not.

The whole picture

Educator. Parent. Neighbor.

Edward does not look at board decisions strictly as an educator asking “Is this good instruction?” or strictly as a parent asking “Is this good for my child?” He asks both — and whether the district can explain the reasoning clearly to the community.

  • Superintendent, principal, and supervisor certified. Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Rutgers.
  • Three children: two in Bridgewater-Raritan schools, one on the way.
  • Routine work with state, federal, and private funders — a skill this board has underused.

“People moved here for the schools. Recently some have wondered if we still stand out. I want no homeowner to have second thoughts.”
